DIY Embossed Metal Quote Tutorial. Glad to see this tutorial. I’ve been doing this for several years using a broken pencil tip on soft metal I’ve bought in sheets at the hardware store and covering boxes and cans with embossed geometric shapes. She uses embossing metal from the craft store (which may be easier to emboss). Really easy tutorial from Grown Up here.

Got a bunch of old floppy disks you’re saving for a rainy day? All you need is hot glue and plants to turn them into super colorful planters for your desk, dresser, or kitchen table.
DIY Ocean Waves. Not just for kids because I love this too - very calming like the meditation jars here. This is the closest “recipe” I’ve seen to mimicking the expensive wave machines and the simplest. Tutorial from Lilla a Design. *First seen at Craft Gossip here. *Similar idea - a lava lamp for kids of all ages here.
DIY Ketchup Hearts. Silly but so cute. From Cute Food for Kids here. *Can draw hearts this way with lots of food/condiments.

Truebluemeandyou: I actually follow Mini Taller d’Art on Facebook because they come up with the best kids’ projects that I can actually see some artist making and putting in a gallery. Truly.

100 Ways to Transform a T-shirt: (1) This 100% recycled, earth-friendly yarn is made entirely from t-shirts. One 3XL shirt can make roughly 70 yards! Tie dye the T before cutting to really mix it up.
Pictured is my own yarn, but you can find an easy to follow tutorial through THIS link. :)
Truebluemeandyou: Really good tutorial from Craft Passion. I’ve seen some amazing crafts knitted out of tee shirt yarn.
